With the hot weather approaching in my portion of the world, I thought our first conversation should be something that is important to everyone. Deodorant. There are many kinds and many uses for this little product. Everyone has their favourite brands, favourite scents. Do I use stick? Gel? Spray on? Scented or Unscented My advice to you is use the one that works for you. What works for me may not be best for you so I'm not going to name or shame brands here.
How do you use it? Easy, simply swipe or spray it where you sweat the most. For example, I use mine under my arms, under my breasts, and the bottoms of my feet. Under the breasts and bottoms of the feet? Am I crazy? A little but they have to catch me first. When a woman has an ample bosom like I do, even with a bra, it sweats like crazy during the hotter months. And that can get stinky. And yes, feet get stinkier during the hotter months as well and I find deodorant helps there as well.
Want in on another little secret on how to use stick deodorant? If I am wearing short shorts or a dress, I also rub some deodorant on my inner thighs to reduce chafing. As a person with thicker thighs, I chafe when I wear dresses or short shorts and a good, long lasting deodorant will prevent that from happening. I have only recently realized how few people know this little secret. Don't worry, for my athletic male followers, I have a tip for you as well. Some of those jerseys you wear can chafe at your nipples so I recommend using deodorant on your nipples to help prevent that. Sure, you can wear a tank top underneath but some days, it is just too hot for that extra layer.
